On certain nights, especially nights around the new moon (when no moon is visible), you can experience the phenomenon of bioluminescence. Tiny plankton emits a mesmerizing blue-green glow when disturbed in the water, creating a spectacle that feels like something out of a fairy tale.

Bocas Dive Center offers two-night dive options: Our exclusive MAYDAY site, located just off our dock, features a plane wreck, a shipwreck, and the ‘I love Bocas’ underwater sculpture. Or, if there are three or more divers, we offer a boat dive to one of the many sites in Bocas, usually a shipwreck.
Please note that night dives are for certified divers only. If you’ve never done one, watch the PADI night dive video before you start your dive.
